CREAte your perfect day!

This Week’s SOPHIC SOUL CHALLENGE:  Create Your Perfect Day!

Since the beginning of the year, you have worked on weekly soul challenges, where you paid attention to your life, your relationships, things that don’t serve you, and other desires that do. This week, I invite you to use both YOUR ATTENTION and INTENTION to get real about taking your life back in the most remarkable way – one day at a time! 

This week, you will get clear about what constitutes your definition of “your perfect day!”  And, not only will you get clear about exactly what that elements of life will fill that unique and wonderful “perfect day” for you, but you will make plans to live it! 

“You can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”—Winnie the Pooh

That wonderful philosopher Winnie the Pooh is reminding you too, that as a thriving, wonderful divine spirit having a human experience, you need to make your life happen, and to treat yourself to what you desire!

I encourage you to make yourself your absolute number one priority, and to design and do something that feels wonderful.  Now, I don’t want you to say “I can’t” or “I shouldn’t..” or anything else that you might say because life feels hard, or upside down.  No, this week, I challenge you to go out into the world -bold and brave – and stop waiting for your “perfect life” to come to you.

 

The Challenge:  Create Your Perfect Day !

Preparation: Take three cleansing breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth: counting to four on the inhale, and five on the exhale.  RELAX, RELAX, RELAX – and grab your journal to begin to chart your course to planning and living your “Perfect Day!” 

Step 1:  Answer this question: “If I had one more day to live a “perfect day” in my life, what would it look like?”

Get really specific about your answer. From the moment you wake up in the morning, to the time you close your eyes to go to sleep, describe it fully. 

Step 2:  Answer this question: “What is keeping me from planning and living that perfect day.”

In your journal, get very specific about all the reasons that you haven’t given yourself permission to live a perfect day of your own making! 

Step 3: With heightened Attention and Intention, during this week’s challenge, complete the planning for you to live that “Perfect Day” in the next few weeks. 

Here, you may want a companion with you, you may want solitude… whatever your unique and wonderful choice, pick the date and plan your day just like it was your last.

Step 4:  Experience Your Perfect Day & Journal all about it!

Write in great detail about every single aspect of that day. Not only about the activities or lack of activities, but record your emotions, feelings, and sense of yourself.  Get really clear on what was included and excluded to make it so “perfect.”

Step 5: Make a promise to yourself that you will plan a “Perfect Day” at least once per month!
