March is Women’s History Month!  Great women have come before us, and indeed continue to walk among us, and they deserve recognition.  Whether local or global, women pioneers have touched the lives of all on this planet forever changing its trajectory.  This week, we honor those women by shouting out their names, enumerating their many accomplishments, and offering homage and gratitude for their fortitude and fight.   These women are our mentors, our guideposts, and the keepers of the divine feminine which has lit the way for others.

I can’t think of a better way to end the month of love, than with an exclamation of self-love!

We are all our worst, or best in this case – CRITICS! We see every part of us that we don’t like with crystal clarity, yet we so often are warped in our perceptions of our real inner and outer beauty and grace. This week’s challenge may be very, very tough for many. This week, I challenge you to let go of your self-loathing, self-criticism, and non-forgiveness of your human. This week, I invite you to look at your beautiful soul being in a new and different way – one that honors the many facets and faces of GORGEOUS and POWERFUL YOU!!

If there exists one thing in this world that is a constant: it ironically is “change.” Yet, most people simply do not like or respond well to change. Change symbolizes the death of an old way and the often-frightening prospect of something coming that might be bad. It might be scary; or worse, painful! And even though change is often a good thing, our ego brain has been hard-wired to warn us against it. In general terms, the ego brain is responsible for dealing with reality and basic human survival. It has a huge job to do, and it takes it very seriously: KEEP US SAFE AND ALIVE.

With Valentine’s Day coming up tomorrow, I think there is no better time to examine our love relationships – not only with others but most importantly with ourselves!  Most of us have spent time dreaming about having a perfect love relationship or wishing the one we have was better.  Many search and pray to find a love match to no avail.  Some other lucky ones have an amazing love for a season or a lifetime.   What is the key to finding and unlocking love, that perfect connection we so long for?
